Oh boy do I feel like a mass murderer... I spent the best part of yesterday afternoon digging up violets which were trying to take over my flower beds and lawn. Has anyone else had a problem with a glut of violets this year
I replanted a few clumps on the bank at the very end of my garden because I could bear to throw them all on the compost heap.

Violets!!I love 'em. My entire borders are amass with them.
Never had problems with them in the lawn,my mower takes care of that ;)
I let them grow everywhere, they smother the weeds and other plants have to compete which make them all the better.
A cottage garden is all the better for them ;)
    Love your avatar Petal ;)
