Violet

    I went out to look for these just for you wildflower, not as many as usual but still there.

    Anyone remember making pama violets?

    Waco...its a lovely photo you can still buy palma violets..you can also make tea with the leaves of this if you have a cough its ideal..you can also use the flowers ..

    Crystallized for cake decoration that is how I remember them...Yummy...

    Thanks - think I will stick to palma violets as dare not pick the leaves.

    I love these little violets. They grow in every shady chink, nook and cranny. They are always neat, but seed themselves freely between paving slabs and beneath hedges. Never a problem to move if they grow in the wrong place, but there is no wrong place for me - I just love 'em

    hornbeams garden sounds like mine things growing in every nook and crany..I hate removing them..
