this is a lovely plant I have in a shady corner in a pot. It is climbing/creeping along the fence...…….sort of...…..holding on with little sucker like feet it attaches to the wood of the fence. 20190709_091954.jpg In autumn it turns the most gorgeous red before losing its leaves for the winter. Id like to know what it is just to know and also what should I feed it. As its in a pot it must get hungry.

Normal Virginia Creeper leaves have serrated edges.

So it might be a Chinese Virginia Creeper.

EDIT: Dammit beaten to it whilst drafting!

Thank you Silver surfer I used the link and that is definitely what it is. Any suggestions on feeding?

When I say 'definitely' I think maybe I don't know enough about subtle leaf differences to be sure but Im happy with knowing its some kind of Virginia creeper. I love it either way and its still beautiful. Im guessing that as its in a pot that is keeping its size under control?.....so much to learn

Hi @cindy had 4 of these growing on my pergola, really nice, I used to give it a feed with slow release granules when it started to show signs of life after it's winter sleep
