We spent a couple of days in Copenhagen before catching the Ferry to Oslo and stumbled on this garden by pure accident.

Every tree and plant had a name stick or label and was laid out in a natural way.

Hot houses had huge palms growing and you could access the tree-tops via a walkway and spiral stairs!

One item which really surprised me was a stand of Jap Knotweed, yes and it was labeled too! I'm sorry that I did not photo that particular item.

We spent almost a day walking round and did not see everything.
And lastly, it was FREE . . .

            'daitheplant

No it is actually called " The Botanical Garden" and is also a teaching facility. Walking, it is about
ten minutes from the Tivoli Garden which is opposite the Copenhagen Central Station.
We would have liked to visit the Tivoli on recommendations of our Daughter, but it is now subject to winter closings.

From what I read and was told, the Tivoli is more of a commercial attraction while all aspects of the Botanical were no charge!

I worked in Denmark in the early seventies. I visited Tivoli several times, it was like a botanical Blackpool.lol
