Walk along the Fleet lagoon (again)

    Went for another walk here this afternoon, last time was in Feb, it's a good place for birding but I still could not get very close to anything. A common Whitethroat wouldn't stay still and most of the others were moving about too much.

    Lovely pictures Strongy. I'm not very good at identifying the birds I see on the RSPb reserves - but I'm learning. :D

    Strongy...it was much hotter when I was there during the week! :cool:

    We spent quite a few hours watching the fishermen/women as they launched their casts,the distances they achieved was amazing!

    Excellent Strongy and Pal, the birds are fantastic Strongy, especially the wheatear, [​IMG] I saw several bird species whilst in Spain the best being a golden eagle. [​IMG]

    The beach shots are glorious PAL, did you borrow that sky from LOL?

    Pal, you found the sun, I thought you were here for two weeks, if your not your not missing anything now as it's pouring and not the place for a holiday. :(

    We knew the festivals were on there and decided last week would be less hectic...Hope the Candle night at Abbotsbury went off ok though [​IMG]
