Walk around Arne RSPB

    Went for a walk around Arne, after cycling there, as it was a sunny day but quiet birdwise, the 1,000 or so Avocets have gone (possibly to Holland to breed).
    I saw my first Dartford Warbler, elusive but visible for half an hour but too distant for pics.

    Goldcrest high up in Birch.

    Some folk kill them and some eat them but this 'NA tree rat' looked cute.

    Early Comma in the sun.

    Eye Eye, resident Peacock was strutting around and his feathers caught my 'eye'.
