Walking Dinasaur

A few weeks ago when my husband was having a fiddle with the lap top,he managed to produce a small Dinasaur that keeps marching on one spot on the screen.

It comes up in place of the pointy arrow thingy.

Problem is neither of us know how to get rid of it.
Any ideas will be gratefully received.

Hi kandyfloss, assuming you are using windows

Go to 'My Computer', then 'Control Panel', then 'Mouse' then 'pointers'. Within 'Pointers' there is an option to select which pointer you want and this would I guess be window default.

No Probs, I used to have a cartoon cursor and it was rubbish for clicking accuracy, just gets on your nerves after the novelty wears off. :D

 

I know what you mean about getting on the nerves.I thought he was cute to begin with but when I tried doing certain things and needed the pointy arrow,he got in the way and wouldn't let me click on the item.
And do you know what.I swear he was grinning at me... like this :D
