    Dose any one have any basic recipes that use wallnuts, My tree is loaded this year and being that i've got rid of a grey four leged thing with bushy tail i hope to have wallnuts this year

      Have you got a sweet tooth like me? There are some lovely cake recipes that use walnuts. :)

      Thank you Fern4, I do have a very sweet tooth, but i'm not a cake person

      Thank you Scrungee, Being not into cakes, Cookies YES please I would love the recipe if not too much trouble

      One more thing, being four leg thing always got the wallnuts, when will they be ready??:):dbgrtmb:

      Well done ridding your garden of that tree rat!

      The wallnuts round here are normally ripe in early October - I take it that you know about their finger staining qualities if too eager to open? But the seasons are funny again this year.
