That damn fence caused more damage by holding back the flow and creating concentrated torrents!

I'm so sorry to see this Paladin, I thought the flooding in England was over now. Unlike Windy, I'd be more upset at the water and muck in the house.

Sorry about that, the second lot of photos didn't appear at first, we obviously crossed in the posting. Now that I see the damage, I don't know which I would find worse. The driveway looks especially bad.

Oh, Pal and Mrs Pal, we are so sorry for you. T'other half just said "and we think it bad because we have some builders' dust and mess to clean up".

I hope your beautiful garden returns to you a little before the "summer" is over. [IMG]

Hell's teeth, Pal - wherever do you start? There's some graft needed to sort all that out. We used to live in Pershore when I worked in Broadway and Mrs HA worked in Evesham... reckon we left at the right time!

Soul-destroying to see what you've worked for destroyed so quickly. Hope it doesn't get you down too much...

Pal ... I don't know what to say except  as well.

We've been slaves to filth and physical exertion today but it just cannot compare and I will not complain ever again about dirt and filth.

At least we haven't lost anything but a few shrubs.

Our heartfelt thoughts are with you guys! [IMG]

You said you had gone home early as flooding was forecast and when I saw the TV news last night I was thinking of you and wondering how much damage you had suffered.
Now I can see your photos and I am truly gobsmacked at the devastation the water has caused Pal and the thought of all the effort needed to clear that lot up makes me exhausted thinking about it.

If some of us GC members lived near you we could all be there to help you and Mrs Pal with the clearing up, but you are in our thoughts.
