Watering and feature

Firstly new to this forum so HI
We have just acquired some land where we need to water the newly laid lawn and at a later date add a water feature
The problem is we do not have any mains piped water to the area BUT we do have a nice deep stream running alongside
I went out and purchased ( in my ignorance) a Clarke hippo 250watt dirty water pump expecting this to have enough power to power the sprinkler etc ..fool !
Whilst it will pump water from the stream in a reasonmable flow it does not have enough pressure to move the sprinkler head

So what kit do I need to make this work ..any suggestions please
we have a good 240v power supply on site
