I have an existing bog garden, created about 5 years ago. It has become apparent over the last few winters that part of the bog garden will not drain properly, and this part will sometimes flood in the winter after heavy rain and remain flooded for a week or two, depending on weather conditions. Plants in other areas of the bog garden are doing well, but nothing seems to survive the winter waterlogged conditions in the problem area.

Any ideas as to what I could plant that would survive? It is not feasible to arrange any better drainage than currently exists, as it is in the lowest part of the garden and probably below even the level of the land drain (hence the problem).

I found this online shop a while back when I was looking for damp loving plants (I only have a damp area though, not waterlogged). Maybe there will be something suitable - no need to buy, just use as a search facility.
