    A good friend of mine (Stuart) took these fantastic shots of some waxwings yesterday shortly after they arrived, cracking photos, well done mate :dbgrtmb:

      This was on the Manchester radio news on Thursday . Apparently they have nipped over from Scandinavia looking for red berries Good Waxwing photos Bilbo :blue thumb:

      I saw some last year in our town; one lonely rowan tree on a car park had about 30 of them in it.

      My friend Stuart took these photos in Deeside near Chester yesterday :dbgrtmb:

      Superb shots:dbgrtmb: they have arrived in large numbers from Scandinavia due to the lack of berries there this autumn, so far they haven't reached the South yet.
