Ways to get through these last dark days of winter....

I think that I'll start psychological warfare with these dark days. I'm going to convince myself that if it is dark when I start my day, I am getting an early start on the day's work.

I also think having Christmas cookies with my morning cuppa is another coping mechanism

I keep all the low energy lights on. Keeps the place nice and bright.
Starting to get the need to plant seed.

 

I lock meself in the pill box for a few hours at the end of the day, bright in there with the LED's

 

Plan what I'm going to sow and grow in the Spring/Summer.

 

There are actual flowers in my garden. Not many, but some. Strangely, that plus the fact it's warm out, seems to be keeping the winter blues away for me so far. Well that plus the fact that I know it will be daylight again soon.

 

Today I booked the second of two cottages in Scotland for reconnaissance in the Spring. It's going to be a long time coming though.
