We had the wettest summer on record..

    But it doesn't take long for it to seem like we're back in a drought again :dunno:

    The soil is arid, and the roads are dusty (thought part of that might be down to dried grit).. is it the same where you are?

    We have had drizzle for the last three days.
    Its clay soil around here, makes a big difference when it comes to drying out.

    It's been dry here for two and half weeks now. I'll have to water my flower beds this weekend.

    It was also similar this time last year, dry around end of February through March.. it seems early Spring dryness (rest/half of the year) is a frequent visitor now! I only have to kick the surface of the soil and a plume of dust goes down the road! I think the very low dewpoints and lack of dew/rain must be held to account though.

      That's been the problem for the last three years here Stephen. Dry spring, then pours with rain right through the summer. Let's hope it's better this year.
