Any recommendations on weed & feed for the lawn? I also have patches of moss to get rid of too.

I've not used any before so would be good to get tips. Get stuff to put in watering can or the dry stuff?

My garden isn't huge but I don't have a working outside tap, so using a hosepipe isn't an option.

I don't have pets and my son isn't old enough to play on the grass.

Easy to use the dry stuff, Westlands are advertising their Weed and Feed product at £10/box, not bad value.

You can buy a complete weed, feed and moss killer if you want to do the job the easy way but some gardeners prefer to treat the lawn in stages. To be honest there's not a lot of difference between the two. Without a hosepipe it would be easier for you to use a granular type which you scatter. This is put down just before rain is due and it will be watered in. The other option is liquid but you will have to carry a watering can backwards and forwards. The patches of moss will turn brown or black and they will have to be raked out with a lawn (tined) rake. You will also find that for a number of weeks after, the grass will grow a lot quicker so will have to be mowed at least once a week.
