    Hi good people.
A very naive weed ID that I really should know. It's taking over along with more 'helicopters'. (Sycamores).
    It doesn't smell nice either!
    Thanks in advance,
    Russ.

It's that wild geranium thingy, herb robert, personally I preferred Herb Alpert.

Geranium robertianum. Quite an attractive wildflower but unless you want them sprouting everywhere for the next few years, it may be advisable to remove them before they set seed. Trust me on this ;)

          Thank you people.
It is as you say, Morewman very invasive. So not a weed as such? It seems to grow in great clumps everywhere. Why? I don't know?
I'm worried about it taking away from my other plants so pull it out rigorously.
          Cheers, Russ.

Easy enough to pull out, you'm right about it smelling though :yikes:

I prefer Herb Alpert too :)

They smell like 2nd hand incontinence pads :snork:

Very easily dug out, hoed down or pulled out especially in loose soil but the seeds seem to linger forever. Once you've got them, you've got them for a long time; not a major invader, just a long-time inconvenience but a beautiful one nevertheless :spinning::spinning:
