    Kauai (Kawaii) is one of my favourite islands so I'm pleased they think they can control the invasion. It is the oldest and most northerly of the Hawaii island and very tropical. Although they have filmed over 40 famous films there (including South Pacific and Jurassic Park) it is still relatively unspoiled and laid back.

    They even have a mini-Grand Canyon (Waimea Canyon) which is quite colourful.
