    Hi

looking for some advice please, I am a beginner when it comes to gardening so looking for some advice. I have uploaded a picture of basically what the issue is and was looking to see what would be the best way to tackle it.

Also whats the best remedy for getting rid of weeds in between the garden path as I am forever pulling them out and its driving me insane.

    Thanks

Do you have a close up of the weed?

The weeds are too far away to identify in your photo. Have you tried hoeing them out?

From what I can see it looks like moss, grass and some small Alchemilla Mollis seedlings, which do self seed everywhere.I'd start by sweeping the gravel away and try getting them out root and all.You could put some wee suppressant fabric down under the gravel but IMO it only keeps the weeds away temporarily and you still get seeds sprouting in the gravel but they're easier to remove. It's one of those jobs you just have to keep on top of:dbgrtmb:

I'd give them a good raking and hoeing on a very hot day to loosen and break up the roots which hopefully will then shrivel. Repeat regularly as new seeds will germinate as soon as there is rain.

Flame gun (awesome) or glyphosphate. Stay away from weed suppressing fabric as stuff just grows on top

You can pour boiling water over them and it will kill them if you dont fancy using weed killer

I would agree with Madahhlia - regular raking should keep it clear. Though, of course, it will require a bit more effort the first time as they are already established.
