    Subject heading says it all.

Large tarmac drive sprouting grass, weeds and moss here and there. How can I get rid of it without replacing the drive. Any suggestions?

How about a weed gun - sort of like a flame thrower to burn them off?

Plantclear works for me - and they are bringing out a replacement for when it gets banned. I don't use much in the way of chemical, preferring orgnanic, but the only organic option I know is either like bayleaf suggests, a flame gun, or rhubarb leaves - and methinks that that would not do.

Rhubarb leaves? all over the driveway? Bit messy

How does that work then Fran.
"Bayleafs burnup" sounds a bit dodgy on tarmac ;)
NO weedkiller sounds good to me, something a bit persistant.

"Burn up" not hot enough to melt tarmac [IMG] !, and only brief spurts directed at each weed, no danger of molten driveway. Weed killer works for a bit, but you'll have to wait for them to "snuff" it ;) .

Thank you so much for the suggestions.
Think I'll start off with Plantclear. Rhubarb leaves do indeed sound messy and the mention of a flame gun is positively scary.

I shall report in due course.
