Weeds

I was looking up some weeds for identificatio and thought I would share some links I have on them.

It's quite mind-boggling how many there are and when you think weeds in some places are flowers elsewhere ... and vice versa. :eek:

 

A weed is only a plant growing in the wrong place.

 

I think I've been growing some of those weeds. :D

 

I'm not growing SOME of them ... I'm growing LOTS of them ... no, even CULTIVATING them. :eek:

NO......a weed is a weed!

 

Lintama, if you have a rose bed and then one year a dahlia suddenly appears in it then that is a weed. Put it in the herbaceous bed and it becomes a decorative plant again.

I bet you wouldn't do that with a bit of bind weed though :D
