just wondering if anyone knows what I should do with this weigela cutting my grandma grew for me. Its well rooted but is all a bit wonky. Not sure whether I should prune it back to improve the shape or just leave it and plant it in the ground. Advice appreciated as always.

    Snorky :)
It will grow well enough either way but I would trim back the thin lanky stems...not for "shape" because weigelas are shapeless shrubs anyway but to produce thicker growth from which more shoots will be produced next year.
You could plant it out but, again, I would prefer to keep it in its pot or pot it on if the roots are showing and plant out in spring.....there will be nothing to see anyway for this winter except for small insignificant twigs. Planted out in spring it will grow away fast:)
