hard to describe this really: my lawn has been having these small (few centimetre round) curly soil deposits shwoing up which dont ake for good looking - especially if they get flattened. I'm guessing theyre from some sort of worm - i wil try and get a pick but does anyone have any ideas?

    Probably just ordinary worm casts.
There's been a lot of worm activity on our golf course fairways recently, guess it must be the time of the year.

Worm casts for sure. If you are paranoid about a good looking lawn just brush them out with a stiff brush.

The worms wil be helping to improve your soil and your lawn will be all the better for them being there.
