    The Looters Prayer

Our father, who art in prison,
My mum knows not his name,
    Thy Riots come,
    read it in "The Sun"
in Birmingham, as it is in London,
Give us this day our Welfare bread and forgive us our looting,
As we are happy to loot those who defend stuff against us.
Lead us not into employment but deliver us free housing,
for thine is the Facebook the Blackberry & the Twitter,
    forever and ever...

    Innit !!!!

As you see from the pictures, the crowds are a bit sparse - that'll be the result of the world economy, over-priced hotel rooms, computer glitch, lack of police manpower, broken trains, staff shortages, points failures, lineside fires, road vehicles striking bridges, buses stuck at temporary traffic lights, incident on the M25, taxis not going south of the river this time of night, oh and a complete lack of interest except from Horseface Holmes and that funny little Coe bloke.

Wait until the event actually arrives and some little toerag nicks some Copper wire from the Underground system and brings the trains to a halt.

Can you imagine trying to explain to 100k's of foreigners that they can't get to the Olympic Stadia because of 100m of cabling.:rolleyespink:

It seems to happen up here almost weekly and seems to be accepted as an expected travel delay these days.
IF they catch anyone it tends to be a Community service "award" they receive. They must be doing a Public service.?

Careful JWK. A Politician is covered by Parliamentary privilege. Strongy may have to take corrective action.

            Heads up for you A.
From March next year (2012), Head to the shed with provisions + copious quantities of your favourite tipple. Close the door. Do not open until August.
Leave Mrs. A to watch the Syncronised Swimming alone.
In August, open the shed, mow the lawn and check with Mrs. A. that the freezer is still stocked.
Whatever you do. DO NOT ask about the Olympics.:mute:

Good advice, gcc, thanks for the heads up. I wish I could leave Mrs A to watch the synchronised swimming and check with her that the fridge was stocked but I lost her to Motor Neurone Disease in April 2001. But I know she would have been watching the Olympics as she was the Sports expert.!!

I was on Komodo two years ago. I can guarantee that the locals won't know anything about the Olympics.
