    Hello fellow gardeners,

I started this site in late December, as there was a lack of UK based gardening information available on the net.

My aim is to create a community of like minded gardeners, helping each other to meet their own specific goals, be it potting up, or growing a difficult plant in the UK from seed. Have a browse, you will notice that there are only 6 open topic areas, but these will split as traffic increases.

PLEASE register, it's free and completed within 1-2 minutes. Please note that, the more people that register, the more help you will receive.

    Many thanks for visiting.

    Nathan. :D

    Hello Nathan,

Rude of me not to reply to your welcome before "diving straight in" with my own question.
I hope this site "takes off" as I have found it to be most informative and friendly.

Good luck with this venture, will tell all my friends about it.......

    Carole

    Hi Nathan,

Am pleased to have found the site. I have a question that I cannot find answer to in any books. Have acquired a nasty little garden and the only decent bed has been used as a dumping ground for used coal fire remains. Will I be able to grow anything on this by improving the soil first or do I dig it out and start again? Many thanks if anybody can help.

    Hi Nathan

I think the site is a really good idea, I love gardening but as a beginner I really don't have a clue what I'm doing half the time. It's great to be able to share ideas and get advice. I have never had the confidence to grow things from seed before, but this year I plan to have a go and like Richard have gone a bit overboard in the ordering - should be an interesting few months!
