Went to ness gardens today with the little ones, are truly beautiful place.
I did force myself into the cafe for cream tea for us all and I stumbled across these. Next thing I knew it, they were in the car on the way home with me........who'd have thunk it......

I think its excellent. A garden should have some sort of theme I think. I quite like the safari theme:)

... and when Mrs Al does notice them and questions your decision to invest in garden ornaments whilst robbing bread and milk out from your babies' mouths...

"Oh, those old things? Probably you just haven't noticed them before, I did some weeding and pruning to give more room for the washing line..."

"What owl? Oh, that Owl... it's a dear, isn't it? Remember I told they had 70% off on all gardening items at Sainsburys..."

(Upset tone used) "Are you saying you never notice what happens in the garden!? I make such an effort and all you can say is "where did those come from?" I guess you don't see the Feng Sui approach with the east facing orientation of them either!?"

Love the birds, and the giraffe Al. What's next? :)

                Good one selleri!

Thanks, but nothing now, I didn't go looking for anything other than the giraffe. I'm more than happy with it! I was looking on the zimbolic website months ago, and when I saw these today ( both from zimbolic) I thought what the hell! They flew into my car with my boys and insisted I take them home with me..............if I had a bigger garden and a big wallet, I'd love an elephant!

Thanks strongy, I can't believe I've lived on the wirral all these years and never been to ness gardens! Pushing a pushchair through the undulating gravel paths and the steps was a bit of a challenge tho!:thud:

Glad I gave up the cigs otherwise I'd be kernackered!:yay:
