Well, that was an expense I didn't anticipate ...

My son (big but not fat) sat down a bit heavily on his bed this morning and broke the wooden frame in two. Ah well, I suppose it's better than the time he busted the loo seat. Dad had to pick splinters out of his bottom for days.

Hee hee. I fell backwards as a teenager and landed heavily on my very basic pine bed, and tha same thing happened. My mum went mad. She thought I'd been up to no good with my boyfriend!

I accidentally smashed a bed in a hotel room once. We just propped it up and checked out the next morning without confessing.

I'm sure the staff will have jumped to a particular conclusion when they found it, but the truth is I'd got drunk, and then decided to see if I could still do a back flip. I failed. My back flip didn't go to plan. Good idea, poor implementation.

Teenage boys seem to go through a really clumsy stage - ours sits down at the table like dropping a bag of spuds and finds it impossible to gently close a door, I don't know how our car door hasn't been wrenched off the speed he slams it shut.
