Hi everyone, this is my first post. I was trying to find a garden/lawn tractor related forum and stumbled upon this one.

Last yr i bought a vgc used Westwood T1600. These usually come with a powered grass collector (PGC). Mine did not. They are quite expensive to buy (over £400) so i assumed it was sold separate to the mower. A good condition full sized used one like this goes for around £200 on ebay!

I managed to find a cheap one but it was slightly damaged. It does the job and collected fine. The damage was to the grass collector box and not powered sweeper itself (the more expensive part). The lower frame of the collector box on both sides towards the front looks like its rusted away and as a result, when the collector gets to about half full, it pivots and the back end of it sags along the lawn (since there's a lack of support to the frame at the front end).

I think I've found the part i need for it which is around ~£40. I've circled in red where mine has rusted off from.

I hope it all makes sense.

My question is: how do i go about changing or disassembling and assembling the whole collector box again just to change this frame?

Sorry if I've made this a tad long!

    Thanks
