Its exactly a year since we moved to Falkirk - so heres how things have changed in the garden in that time. With a LOT of hard work.

The front area - a nightmare because of rabbits. We tried to use only ââ?¬Å?rabbit resistantââ?¬Â plants - but the rabbits ate them. So we decided to dig deep and get the fencesââ?¬Â¦Ã¢â?¬Â¦ Itââ?¬â?¢s not finished - nothing is, but weââ?¬â?¢ve only been here a year!! Iââ?¬â?¢m no miracle worker!!

    Before

    Work in progress

    And now

Then theres down the left side of the house - an absolute nightmare of builders rubble, and d*** all soil..

    The early stages after planning
    [IMG]

And now, from the same point of view
    [IMG]

And from the side of the side (??)

An utterly amazing transformation Dendi! I don't know how you managed to make the time to do it and fit work in too.
Bet the neighbours feel rather in the shade!

Let's see the rest of the pics then.

Ok - the side - where the drive goes down to the garage, and the path down the side of it to the cottage garden.

Remember this was how it was early on
    [IMG]

    And then in May

Ill spare you even more recent stuff, where we put pots in.

Im shattered just posting this lot, and I can well remember how it felt doing it all!

Theres a lot more, but Ill spare you that!! :D

    Thanks for that Dave!! :D

Well, we have goaded the other gardeners at number 1 (Plant with a pickaxe....) into getting on faster with theirs - so we have a competition going! :D

    Gob-smacked.

I'm now going off for some [IMG] [IMG] and shall cry in a darkened room while I try to forget the weeds, worn and bumpy drive, rotting annex to the shed, water penetration in the garage and massive patch of daisies in one of the lawns.
But then maybe I'll have a different perspective this time next week when I'm bathing my tootsies in the Ionian sea :D

Gob smacked is the word. All that in a year - that is truly magnifiscent. Well done. You must purr every time you look out of the window, or go out the door.
