What a lovely little flower.

While walking over my "meadow" (my biggest bit of grass) a few days back I spotted a tiny pink bloom. It is still there so today I tried photographing it.



It is a beautiful little thing. No more than 5mm across and bright pink. It must have arrived courtesy of a bird or perhaps from one of the wildflower seeds I sowed two years ago, which never germinated.
The bauchly shoe is for scale.

 

You know what they say about men with big feet?

 

They buy big shoes.
