I went with one of my daughters today to do a bit of Xmas shopping. I was looking for a present for my wife,my daughter was looking for after shave for a friend and to assist me in selecting a present. She was looking at some clothing etc, i thought i would take a stroll over to the gents toiletries area to see if they had the brand of after shave my daughter was looking for.:fingerdrum:.
After a search i found the brand she wanted. I gave her a shout "Karen, they have that brand in stock,it's £4.70".
I didn't have my reading glasses on, it was £47.00:shocked:.
To let you understand i haven't purchased after shave for about 30 years! the last time it was Old Spice, or something of that ilk. with having so many females in my family i get after shave every year. i have Nine11truths in my cabinet, four still unopened,so i hadn't a clue what it cost, so much so, if the wife had no toilet air freshener i would spray some after shave in the toilet!!!.
Before leaving the store, i had my £3 worth from the samplers i was reeking with after shave and other freebies :rolleyespink:.
My Daughter said i was smelling like a Turkish Brothel:D.( She has some nice sayings):WINK1:

Some of the names and prices> Hugo Boss £38.0.
    Paco Rabanne £30.0.
Carolina Herrer £28.0. Bring Back Old Spice :yess:.

I've been using Aramas EDT for 30+ years (the original in the brown box).....

most other brands of the EDT/aftershave smells 'girlie' and the smell only lasts for a couple of hours

            Aramis lasts all day

All this talk of aftershave has reminded me of something my dad said a while back....he said years back when he used to go to our towns football matches (pre stadium days) when the players ran off the pitch at the end of the game they smelt of good honest hardworking sweat....the last match he went to he said all you could smell was aftershave...."the big bunch of girls".....:D

a shower with Lifebuoy soap and a shot of trugel hair gel or Brylcream was the pheremone in my area long ago.... funnily, saw Lifebouy soap at a large Tesco recently ....

bought a bar of Wrights coal tar soap recently .... day later it was missing from the bathroom .... not sure who put in in the dustbin (wife or daughter)

Male animals may also emit pheromones that convey information about their species and genotype.

BRUT cheap skate, NOT well orft Barsteward,
OLD SPICE evern cheaper skate, had to borrow dad's

GARDENERS with small violet flowers can and do attract the Lady of the Manor, according to one book I have read

Uggly Millionaires emit some fantastic pheromones, that attract the opposite sex from up to 18k miles away

In the early 70's I used to sell a lot of Oriental Spice (Old Spice's 'new' product) and Hai Karate. They were extremely popular.
