Just heard a loud thud, looked at the letterbox and a catalogue from screwfix has just been delivered by the postman (got my name and address on polythene wrapper)
I never asked for it, if I want anything from them (I do use them quite often) I look on line, then go and get it, so why waste the money on printing a catalogue that is now in the recycle bin, and the postage?
Has anyone else received one through the post or other such waste of money recently?

I regularly get the Screwfix catalogue, only ever bought 1 thing off them:doh:

What gets my Goat though is Chiltern seeds, I order something on line, probably only cost a first class stamp for a few seeds, pay the postage, but before my order arrives 2 catalogues turn up that cost far more to post. If I knew they were going to do that I would have phoned them & said I don't want to pay the postage, just stick my order in with the catalogues, i'd get it quicker then too:mad:

In another life as an engineering storesperson, there must have been 12 - 14 feet of shelving full of spares catalogues, we used four of them, (four catalogues, not four feet of them)! ! !:heehee:

    Cheers, Tony.
