    Hello JamboMassive

    Welcome to the forum.

From the second picture, I don't think your apple tree has a disease at all. It just seems to have some green algae on it, unles I missed something. Mature apple trees have all sorts of lichen and algae on them which are harmless. Fungi are another matter but I couldn't see any of those.

It's difficult to identify an apple just from a picture because there are scores of different types and many of them look very similar. I'd suggest visiting a branch of the RHS when they have their Apple Week in the autumn. I've taken apples to Wisley for identification and you can see experts having a hard time of identifying some specimens!

Your tree looks like it needs some careful pruning. I'd buy a copy of an RHS fruit tree book or pruning manual - it's what I did when I moved into a house with a very neglected apple tree in the garden. It was very helpful.

I agree with Flinty, apart from a bit of a prune your tree, and the apples, are fine. The algae wont do any harm.:thumb:
