Hello, first, haven't been here for a while and Chrome wouldn't get the site up. I'm using Firefox now after adding an extension, whatever that means! Does anyone know what I can do with Chrome to get to the site?

I've often passed these orange flowers in the car; really like them. Would you know what they are, please?

    Many thanks!

Ah, well, it's not allowing me to upload them for some reason, I'll try later from my laptop.

    Thank you.

'Fraid not. Round, circumference of your average mug, prominent yellowy centre, multi-branching, long stalks, dark green foliage...

Ooh, it's like a guessing game. :snorky:

Ligularia...but they are more of a yellow?
    Geum...sound bigger than geums...

    It is!

Not Ligularia, some similarity to geum, but geum smaller, I thought, and not so - what's the word? - sprawling? And these don't appear to have geum-type stamens, and are quite tall. Think probably not.

Managed to upload pics; don't know how useful they are, taken through car window! The one on the right, perhaps? Thanks for all suggestions so far.

        Hi ennnceee ,

Looking at it now I'd say it's a Tithonia.
        Probably Tithonia Rotundifolia " Torch " .
        It's common name is " Mexican Sunflower " .

It's a gorgeous plant and very useful fir cut flowers. Also, it flowers well into the Autumn.
