What are these yellow pellets in my compost?

    I bought some westland ericaceous compost however it seems to have these small yellow pellets in it. Does anyone know what they are ?

    Probably slow release fertiliser.

      Definitely slow release fertiliser pellets.

      They could concievably be ferrous sulphate to acidify a peat free medium.
