yeah a book mark is a thing that you put in a book to mark the page. A tag is a thing you used at school to hold the pages in a folder. Any help mate.:D
If you 'bookmark' a thread, it's so you can find it easilly in future. A 'tag' is a word or phrase in a thread that you mark as a 'tag' so when searching for a subject, if you use that word, it will direct you to that subject. Does that sound feaseable ? If not then I havn't got a clue, I just use the bits of this forum I almost understand and ignore the rest. If there's no instruction as to how it works, then it can't be very important. :pcpunch:
I use my favourites list to keep track of pages that I want to find again in the future, the difference with bookmarks is that they help other people to find the page you like (I can't explain why you'd want to do that on here) :cnfs:
Hi Roder's If you go to F.A.Q.there is an answer in there Not sure if its in plain English:D But there,s definitely some kind of answer there:thumb:
Bookmarks (Firefox) = Favourites (Internet Explorer), are a way to save a website address to avoid having to type it all into the address line, very useful for long addresses.
