Hello and welcome, you will like it here. I concur with Marley, they look like Leatherjackets (the larvae of Crane Flies (daddy longlegs) ). Best squish them, or feed them to the local feathered friends.
Hi i have googled this and they are indeed leather jackets!! They are everywere. Is there anything i can put down to kill them?
Thanks for all these good replys! Just wondering if poor drainage in the garden contributes to the problem of leather jackets? Are garden does not seem to drain at all and is full of mosd.
