I think there are varieties of lettuce :dunno: can anyone recommend any? I'd like to grow some in my gutter garden but it gets no sun at all during the winter months. However, it is on an East (ish) facing wall, so protected from the Westerly winds.

I have some tubs which are doing very little at the moment, so, any suggestions for what I could put in there now? Again, not much in the way of direct sunlight.

    Thank you in advance :dbgrtmb:

Might be a bit late to start from seed now, usually got my winter crops established by late summer.

Mizuna is pretty hardy, even survived being under snow. Other things like Land Cress, Kale, Chinese Mustard "Green in Snow" do ok.

Have a look in the garden centre (any excuse :snorky:) and see what they've got ready to plant out :)

No worries, oh, if you can't find Mizuna seed, they often hide it in mixed salad seed packets.

        Looks like this
