I hardly ever watch television - only ‘Have I got news for you’, on Channel 1, together with my husband. When that finished, we took to watching ‘The last leg’ on Channel 4 - another excellent topical comic programme which apparently had been going on for years without our knowing.
Now that is finished too. We tried ‘Mock the week’ but found that very disappointing. Is there anything else we can watch weekly which is comic and preferably topical? It has to be on Freeview.
    Thanks!

The channel, Dave has re-runs of Qi. I find that humorous and informative. Even the episodes from previous years are always interesting. I'd give that a go.

I would consider getting a Android tv box you might have to up your broadband speed if its slow, but you will be able to watch what you want.

Thanks for the idea, but it's not worth the trouble. I only watch it so rarely, mainly to keep my husband company every now and then.

I cant find anything on Tv worth watching, strange, because when we only had four channels I watched it every evening.
Since we now have god knows how many I just keep changing channels, the thinking being, there must be something better to watch than this rubbish.

        Trouble is, there aint.

A hobby of mine Pete is a thing called feed hunting, basically looking for live TV broadcast, i can get channels from all over Europe thousands of them on my satellite system, i also have a Kodi box that i can watch any film ever made/all the latest films that's on cinema and lots more, I also pay nearly £100 to sky and BT a month, and i struggle to find something to watch at times, usually end up with a discovery channel on.
