    Hi

This was an absolutely beautiful tree I have had it for many years even though I don't know what it is, it flourished every year with gorgeous green leaves but it looks like this now but I don't know why, can you tell me why it has gone like this please.

It's very dead. Probably a fungal or bacterial infection.

My palm tree has suddenly lost all of its leaves and fallen over too, would it be the same fungus that did this.

Look at the bright side - Now you can remodel that part of the garden and plant something new and even more beautiful.

The tree is dead - long live the tree!

            I thought they were dead!
I just wondered if you knew what had caused it, I have had the same thing happen with my laburnum tree.

If honey fungus you would probably have seen some yellow orange toadstools, often in clumps, in the autumn.

Not often easy to work out what killed something when you only have fossilised remains to go on.
