    There are allot of bees & hoverflies around today...

    :D Why thank you...! Actually DAG those pics above were taken with the old Canon..... [​IMG] These below were taken with the new camera. I got the Fuji finepix S5600, but I am still finding my way round it...! These are my first lot. The depth to the photo is quite different I think... ;)

    ooooeeeer, Paladin!!!!! ;)

    We did have a lovely nest of little Bumble Bees until the gardener put a sledge hammer through the steps and opened up the nest.... sadly, they have had to move on..... :( :( :( , but we are putting up some insect houses for the winter....

    After I said I hadn't seen one, a Hummingbird Hawk moth visited the yellow bottle brush today but I was too far away to get a pic/video i'll be watching for it again particularly as the pink one has come out now. [​IMG]

    Whats flying near you???..something horridble that has bitten me the same as it did last year..it comes up in a big blister and you can see two holes where its attacked me ..that is once you have itched the blister off as it itches like mad..i have put arnica on it to cure it fast!! if i could get my hands on whatever keep doing it well they would be evicted!! :(

    This little chap was unfortunately NOT flying near me today! :( He is a young robin that has left the nest too soon. He was on the lawn yesterday and again this morning so he survived the night. Kept watching hoping for Mum or Dad to feed him, but no sign yet :(

    [​IMG] This bee was so heavily laden wth pollen his flight was a little unsteady....!!!!! ;) :D Even a bug already there where he was landing...!! :D
