What is everyones age?

Just wondered what the average age of us gardeners on GC was, traditionally it's the "older" person that enjoys gardening; I wonder if that's the case?

I'll start with 53...

 

51, but I started a long time ago :D

 

Iam 41 but have been interested in gardening since my early 20's

 

Well, I think I might be the oldest GC member as I was 73 last month.
I have been supervising my husband's gardening for over 50 years. :D
Anyone beat that?

 

I got interested in gardening since I moved into this house and that was nearly 17 years ago so for me it was at 36.

It really came about because I was waiting for my husband to tackle the jungle that it was then and he showed no interest or inclination so I got out there and have been hooked ever since

 

I may be the oldest - 74 in a few days!

 

Well we have all got a bit older now,how about this?
Just for once, my memory is still working! :D :D

54, had an interest in plants from about 12, have worked under glass in nurseries since 16.

51, always had a love of gardening grown up, stayed a lot with my grandma she had such a pretty garden, well i,ve just got a balcony and do enjoy trying different climbers and plants these past 9 years, with quite a lot of success.
