    Hi
Found this in a bunch of flowers we got at Christmas, just wandering what it is and can it be propagated and planted outside layer in the year?

    Many thanks

It looks to me like some type of Hypericum. As far as I know they are hardy.

I think probably seed is the best way to propagate, as I find it growing on its own in my garden.

Hi looked it up Hypericum can be propagated by seed, division, or by taking softwood cuttings. By Seed To propagate by seed, sow seeds any time from mid-spring to early autumn. Make sure the bed is well-dug and weed-free, and the surface soil is crumbly in texture. Space the seeds around 0.5m apart, depending on the variety. Seed is really the best way
