upload_2024-4-20_19-35-42.jpeg Sorry don't know how to do this! Some of the flowers are completely curled in on themselves so I have cut them all off. No sign of any beasties. I hope someone can help as I just bought a tray of them two days ago and they seemed fine.

Are they outside? Have you had a hailstorm recently (like we have) ? The photo is a bit blurry looks like possible hail damage to me.

can we see phots of the flowers please?

Were they undercover when you bought them and did you then put them straight outside?
That can alos cause damage, even if it's just been raining, as they aren't acclimatised.
Many of these little plants are grown in very protected conditions.

Thanks for your replies @Dovefromabove and @fairygirl. They were outside but under high roofing. I kept them in a very sheltered part of the garden for a few days before planting up in the container. All appeared to be well. I think we did have a few short but heavy hail showers during that time though I didn't notice any damage until after they were planted up. Unfortunately, I cut off all the flowers where the petals had curled in on themselves. The flowers which were left are looking good this morning. Sorry a bit blurry - not very warm today

I think they’re going to be fine … it was probably just a bit of weather damage … those little violas are remarkably resilient . :)

Yes - I wouldn't be worried at all. They're tough. They're more likely to get slug damaged than anything else, which is why I rarely grow them now.
