What is this bug?

    I thought my cat was looking a bit suspicious when playing on my lawn and it turned out she was playing with this

        Thank you have just googled and it doesnt sound like a brilliant bug to have around. Should i be worried?

        I think I might be as their grubs do terrible damage to ones lawn.. :mad:

        Ah dammit! I don't really have a lawn anyway its more moss but i dont want to do loads of work on it if it will get destroyed

        And if there's badgers about they do even worse damage digging their grubs up

            I have never been so glad to not have badgers lol

            At the gardens where a neighbour works they had to put a low electric fence all around the lawns (infested with chafer grubs) to stop the local badgers tearing them up.

              I knew I didn't want Chafer-bugs but never thought of badgers digging the lawn to find them Scrungee I didn't realise they found them such a delicacy.... :yikes:
