What is this flower please

I've looked at the books but can't find it
Would be grateful for ident please

 

Looks like an Anemone sp.... such as a Japanese Anemone.
Anemone x hybrida.
Would be better to see a pic of the whole flower/ leaves also.

Yes, really need to see the leaves of the flower as well to identify if properly.

 

As well as Anemone x hybrida, it could be Anemone hupehensis.
