What is this growing?

    Hello im new to gardening this is my first go basically boguht some seeds and compost...but before that my nan got me a grow box which had allsorts in u just plant into the ground well ive identified pea pods and potatoes bu i have no idea what these are but there growin beautifully lol any help pleasE? thank you

    Well I would have said a potato too.. There are different kinds that you plant at different times you know.. Which do you have in this magic box.?

    The Potato will flower soon. Make sure you pile some earth around the stem, upto the lower leaves. That will stop light getting to the potatoes underneath.

    If the light gets to them they go green.

    Ok thanks for the advice. Also the flowers that are flowering have white flowers with bklack in the middle not sure what kind was in the box...but i thought with the flowers dying off they wer ready to pull up so i pulled up one plant today and all i got was roots with white circles about ( ) that big if that...i really thought trhey were ready as theyve been in since the end of march :( lol

    That's 8 or 9 weeks ... which is the minimum time for the fastest First Early varieties in idead temperatures / conditions.

    If yours is not a variety called "rocket" :D or some name like that, or is not a First Early, its too soon to be harvesting
