What Is This Perennial?

    Can anyone tell me what this is please? It's quite spectacular in May and seems to have self-seeded from somewhere. I know I didn't plant it!

    I think that's 3 of us that can't see anything ..... maybe we need our eyes testing?:confused::DHel.xxx.

    Well, it didn't work. I followed the instructions via Photobucket but the pic isn't showing. The frame transferred but can't see the photo. Help?

    go to your picture copy the IMG code, then paste it to your post.

    It`ll show when it comes up

    I have a few of those comes back everyyear.
    The seeds are prolific

    If they are perennial Capney they are probably Papaver somniferum. That's the opium poppy! The only reason we don't get opium from it in this country is that it isn't hot enough. But with global warming .....
