Not your fault-that blinking canker got it, and now my mature one has it too.

Nice to see a healthy one in bloom.

Well, you could start with that Eden project bubble you told us all about.

Anything thats looking good in your plot, depressed about my trees and could do with some sunshine. If you check out the japanes cherry blossom thread (in trees) I put a rainbow on there. I was nearly in tears taking the pics of my diseased buddy and then that came out.

Judging by some of the other posts there is a lot of fruit trees having it hard at the moment.

I wondered why someone would live in Wales LOL:D

    Thats a big one!

......the laburnum, how long has it been there.

    Great view.

Struggling to find any good ones of mine, surrounded by those orange blocks they call new builds, they cut an orchard down to build them! Monstrous, they are doing it across the road too.

I am off to search for some good uns of mine

Thanks very much, I needed that;):thumb:

    Well Claire,

The Dormer Bungalow has now been here for 12 years, so I assume that's the age of the trees. We have only been here for two years, but we count ourselves extremely lucky. Its a long story why we are here though.

I do have a bone to pick with you...Greater Manchester indeed. No it ain't it's Bolton. Years and years ago I lived in Little Lever near Farneth (which is the correct pronunciation)...I presume you know where that is.:thumb:

I still have friends who live around Bolton and often went for a meal at Smethils Coaching House (is it still there). My son was born in Bolton General.:)

:thumb::thumb::thumb:Thats Fantastic:thumb::thumb::thumb:, yeah Smithills Coaching House is still there-it does ghost tours now as well as the grub:), used to live in Darcy Lever so practically next door then. I do indeed know Farnworth and my son, and two daughters were born in Bolton General too.

    Small world.

I will put up a few pics of my surroundings as soon as I take some, Winter Hill, Rivington Pike etc. They are doing up Moses Gate Country Park and I`ll get some of those aswell to cheer you up, though I might have to take a big hungry dog with me got a good camera ( even if I don`t know how to use all the functions), not that I would besmirch farnworth at all, no.

Living in Westhoughton now, about 1mile from the Reebok Stadium. It doesn`t make me a cowhead ( how do you spell that properly?)though:p, I know I know I will update the profile-had to check there were no nutters here first, well there are some but no one homicidal:D:D:D, I quit smoking using an online forum-proper radio rental there.
