Hi, I already posted a thread before LINK, wondering why my Mammoth Giant sunflower was starting to bloom at only 16 inches. I'm pretty sure I planted a grey stripe seed in that pot because all my mammoth giant seeds expired and this is the only one that germinated out of all of them.

Anyway, it's been a couple of days and the flower has almost fully bloomed (I think). Unfortunately, it doesn't look like a sunflower to me...

This was him when he was 3 days old (grew pretty fast):

As I only had two kinds of seeds at that time, the only possibility is that it's either a Mammoth sunflower or an autumn beauty sunflower. Doesn't look like either one to me. Help...?

Because I can. :) Considering sunflowers originated from Central America, I would think they'd do very well in Philippine climate.

But the picture proves you cant :D

    Where are you growing it?
It appears to be in some kind of covered area or even a propagation type place.
