What Made These?

    These first three photos are of the same thing. It appears to me as though they are made by a cat that could have been chasing something.

    The first photo shows two of the marks

    This is just a close-up

    And this is to the next one right of the others and just before a fence. The obvious paw marks would be at the right-hand side of the marks in the above pictures.

    This is more puzzling. There were a number of these faint markings in the same area. None were in a row or in the same direction and there was one patch with three at different angles :scratch:

      If you look at the two prints in the first picture - the third picture shows a clearer picture of what is at the bottom of the right-hand side of each print.

      So there are two paw prints in each print. A have guessed that it was a cat from the distance between the two paws and it looks as though the paw prints are either the fron paws as it landed from a jump or the back paws as it took off.

      The, totally different, faint marks in the last photo could, at first, be thought to be prints from a shoe that have had snow fall on them but no one had walked in the part of the garden. :scratch:
